Elon Musk: It’s a clear sign of the apocalypse

American entrepreneur Elon Musk often – in jest or in more serious conversations – likes to announce the end of the world as we know it. This t

ime, however, he is convinced that the apocalypse is really close, as he has learned that there is a foil with bubbles that we cannot burst.

Probably one of the most cathartic sensations that is very easily achieved is the bursting of bubble wrap. Apparently, this kind of “anti-stress therapy” is also resorted to by the founder of SpaceX and Tesla, the American entrepreneur Elon Musk, as he joins a crowd of people wondering who and why he invented a bubble wrap that doesn’t pop.

Namely, a user shared the title of an article on Twitter talking about the new film, and Musk responded to the post in his own style. “This is a clear sign of the apocalypse,” he is convinced.

The news, though, is a few years old. In 2015, Sealed Air Corp., a popular foil maker, introduced a new bubble wrap that does not burst when pressed. The new version of the foil is called iBubble, and it has air bubbles attached to it so that when one squeezes one, the air escapes into the adjacent bubbles and does not burst. But, no worries. Even after four years, the new foil did not supplant the old crack. The end of the world is not so close yet.

In the past, Elon Musk has repeatedly said – jokingly or in serious conversations – that he is nearing the end. He is convinced, among other things, that artificial intelligence will cause the downfall of humanity. Even with its technology, it also contributes to the development of artificial intelligence.
